By participating in/partnering with South African Conversations’ Community Conversations as a Security Guard, I acknowledge that this is a social-entrepreneurial collaboration aimed at benefiting communities, rather than a traditional business or employer-employee arrangement. I understand and agree that: • I provide services at my own risk, and South African Conversations cannot be held liable for any damages, losses or claims arising from Community Conversations events, including personal injury. • South African Conversations is not responsible for unforeseen circumstances, including cancellations, disruptions or incidents. • Payment for my services depends on securing an advertising partner. I may choose to postpone or proceed with an event without charging for my services. • Payment is contingent on the advertiser paying South African Conversations. We bear no liability for unpaid earnings or financial losses resulting from non-payment by an advertiser. • I release South African Conversations from any claims, liabilities or damages related to my role and participation in this collaboration.
