The magazine is not available for individual subscriptions because we don’t want to compete with magazine sellers for whom this is serious business. But because it is an invaluable tool for personal well-being and development, it is available as a ‘staff welfare’ subscription to corporations and government organisations.

B-BBEE Scorecard Points

Your subscription may qualify as Enterprise Development Funding. Talk to us! South African Conversations (Pty) Ltd is a certified majority Black Owned, Level 2 B-BBEE Exempt Micro Enterprise, ED beneficiary. This means that any monetary, non-monetary, recoverable or non-recoverable contributions to South African Conversations count 125% towards ED scorecard targets.

Purchases from South African Conversations not only count 125% towards Preferential Procurement scorecard targets but can be multiplied by a 1.2 enhancement factor.

Terms & Conditions

The magazine currently sells for R50 per copy. The contracted subscription price will remain in force for 12 months, regardless of whether the publication’s price increases during that time.
Minimum quantity: 10 magazines per order delivered to one address.
Courier delivery: R99 per bag for up to 25 magazines or R165 per box of up to 50 magazines.
Subscription period: 12 months.
Invoices are issued monthly during the week of delivery.
Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.
Interest of 2.5% will be levied on all late payments.
The number of magazines ordered may be increased, but not decreased during the contract period.
The Publisher shall not under any circumstances be liable for any damage or loss directly or indirectly resulting from any delays or failure to publish. The Subscriber’s only recourse will be a full refund of money paid to the Publisher for undelivered magazines.

I/we hereby instruct and authorise South African Conversations (Pty) Ltd to draw against the above-listed bank account the stated amount at the selected frequency on the selected payment date and continue to do so until termination of the contract/agreement/order mentioned above or until cancelled or changed by us by giving thirty days’ notice in writing to accounts@southafricanconversations.co.za Or until a price-change from South African Conversations necessitates a new direct debit instruction from us.

I/we may also direct any disputes, stops or cancellations through our bank.

All such withdrawals from our bank account shall be treated as though they have been individually signed and approved by an authorised signatory.

I/we understand that the withdrawals hereby authorised will be processed through a computerised banking system, will be governed by South African laws relating to direct debits, and that details of each withdrawal will be available on our bank statement.

South African Conversations (Pty) Ltd may not exceed or change any detail of the above agreement, nor may it cede or assign its rights with regard to this direct debit to any third party without our prior written consent.

I/we agree to ensure that there are sufficient funds available in the nominated account to meet each debit order and to pay any bank charges relating to this debit order instruction – including charges for rejected orders.

Receipt of this instruction by South African Conversations (Pty) Ltd shall be regarded as receipt thereof by our banker.
