Here’s what you need to know about requesting or updating a listing in our Resource Directory

1.You can get a free listing when you place a pre-print order for the next edition of the Resource Directory

Listings in the Resource Directory involve significant effort,including curating and enhancing each entry. The value of a listing is R995. However,you can get one or more listings completely free of charge,by ordering a copy of the next edition of the directory before we go to print. Here are the options:

• • • Option a:Free Listing with Pre-Order.Pre-order a copy of the next edition of the Resource Directory for just R495 (including VAT and courier delivery),and your listing is on us. This pre-order price is locked in,even if the print price increases. We will invoice you only when we are ready to go to print,and you’ll have 30 days to pay,offering flexibility for your cash flow.
      A pre-print order of at least one Resource Directory copy qualifies your organisation for listings at no extra charge. The number of copies ordered is unrelated to the number of listings we may place. Your organisation may receive multiple distinct listings (e.g.,tailored for different categories) at our discretion,all included at no extra charge with your pre-order.
    • Option b:Standalone Listing. If you do not wish to pre-order the Directory,a listing costs R1,144.25 (including VAT).

2.Important Listing Information

• • • The offering must be free or very affordable.
    • We welcome listings for socially beneficial,non-commercial government,civil society,CSI and faith-based programmes and resources.
    • We will carefully review and,if necessary,edit your information for clarity and impact,submitting the typeset listing for your approval before inclusion in the next edition.
    • We may not list very small organisations or multiple similar organisations serving the same area. For instance,we cannot list every orphanage.
    • We are likely to list an organisation that is the only one of its kind in an area or if it is available in multiple locations,unique,and if others can learn from the example – even if it is small.
    • South African Conversations reserves the right to decline any listing request,without explanation,even if a pre-print order for the Resource Directory has been placed.
    • It’s worth a try. Even if you don’t get listed,by pre-ordering you’ll get a copy of this incredible book delivered free of charge. That is roughly 20% less than the normal cost. And there’s no risk:we won’t invoice until we print.
